#26 - Nu te-ndoi ci crede

Strofa 1 1. Nu te-ndoi, ci crede (Do not doubt, but believe) Că după orice nor (That beyond every cloud) E-un soare şi mai dulce, (There is a sun still sweeter) Și mai strălucitor. (And still more radiant.) Nu norul este veşnic, (It is not the cloud that lasts forever,) Ci soarele-i acel (But the sun that) /: Ce-nvinge şi rămâne (/: Overcomes and remains) Stăpân în urmă, el. :/ (The ruler in the end. :/)

Strofa 2 2. Nu te uita la tine, (Do not look at yourself,) Că eşti atât de slab, (For you are so weak,) Nici la vrăjmaşul care (Nor at the enemy who) Te-ar nimici degrab. (Would quickly destroy you.) Nu te uita la ziduri, (Do not look at the walls,) La porţile de fier, (At the iron gates,) /: La ura ce scrâşneşte, (/: At the gnashing hatred,) Ci uită-te la cer! :/ (But look toward heaven! :/)

Nu te-ndoi, ci crede (Do not doubt, but believe) Că dincolo de tot (That beyond everything) Veghează Dumnezeul (God keeps watch,) Puternic Savaot, (The mighty Lord of Hosts,) Că nici un păr nu-ţi cade (That not a hair falls from your head,) Că nici o clipă nu-i, (That there is not a moment,) /: Că nu-i nici o-ncercare, (/: That there is not a trial) Decât prin voia Lui! :/ (Except by His will! :/)

Strofa 4 4. Că dacă crezi puternic, (For if you believe firmly,) Nimica nu-i spre rău, (Nothing will be for harm,) Ci totul se va-ntoarce (But everything will turn) Spre-un şi mai bine-al tău. (To your still greater good.) Nu te-ndoi, ci crede (Do not doubt, but believe) Că-n ceasul cel mai greu, (That in the hardest hour,) /: Clipită de clipită (/: Moment by moment,) Veghează Dumnezeu! :/ (God keeps watch! :/)
