#37 - Se duce viața ca un vis

Strofa 1 1. Se duce viaţa ca un vis, şi umbrele se duc şi vin, (Life passes like a dream, and shadows come and go,) Iar noi zburăm spre Paradis, spre viaţă sau spre chin, (While we fly toward Paradise, toward life or torment,) Spre slava cerului senin, sau spre adâncu-ntunecos, (Toward the glory of clear heaven or the dark abyss,) Spre veșnicii în sus sau jos, fără sfârșit. (Toward eternity above or below, without end.)

Refren R: Eşti pregătit să zbori când ceasul va suna? (Are you ready to fly when the hour strikes?) Eşti pregătit să zbori când El te va chema? (Are you ready to fly when He calls you?) Eşti pregătit sau nu? Acum e timpul potrivit! (Are you ready or not? Now is the right time!) Întoarce-te şi tu ca să fii mântuit! (Turn back as well, so that you may be saved!)

Se duce viaţa ca un nor, spre marele necunoscut, (Life passes like a cloud toward the great unknown;) Pe-oceanul veşniciilor, atâţia au trecut; (So many have crossed the ocean of eternity.) Şi tu vei trece, nu uita, depinde cum te-ai pregătit, (You too will cross—do not forget; it depends on how you have prepared.) Spre veşnicie vei zbura, spre infinit. (You will fly toward eternity, toward infinity.)

Strofa 3 3. Şi, iată, Domnul va veni, cu slavă veşnică pe nori, (And behold, the Lord will come upon the clouds in eternal glory,) Cu zecile de mii de sfinți, cu îngerii în zbor; (With tens of thousands of saints, with angels in flight,) Ca fulgerul la răsărit, şi orice ochi Îl va vedea, (Like lightning in the east, and every eye will see Him;) Şi-aceia ce L-au răstignit, vor regreta! (Even those who crucified Him will regret it!)
